Bike Blenheim Palace is hosted by the 11th Duke & Duchess of Marlborough at the World Heritage Site of Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
For the last 4 years Bike Blenheim Palace has hosted the Brompton World Championship and has grown to include 60 mile & 100 mile sportives, a 26 mile Pink Ribbonride and 20km Time Trial on the closed Blenheim Park roads. The event will be expanding considerably in 2012 & becomes a TWO DAY EVENT for the first time. Additionally, MOUNTAIN BIKING will be included for the first time, with a tough 40km off-road sportive on the event schedule.
Bike Blenheim Palace 2012 has something for everyone, from die hard racers to sportive riders to families looking for somewhere safe to ride their bikes in beautiful surroundings. A full weekend long festival of cycling will also include the Animal Bike Tour, Look Mum No Hands cafe, Kiddimoto champs, demo rides, an e-bike expo and guided rides for all. The event is being supported by the UK’s major cycling advocate groups, namely British Cycling, CTC and Sustrans.
